Radiators - case study
When applied to a radiator used on a race car, the team found that the cooling system ran significantly cooler. Over the course of a race, the car ran significantly cooler, and whilst one of the team's cars overheated, the test car ran perfectly. An added benefit was the ability to start working with hot components soon after the race finish, as they cooled faster and had not reached such high temperatures.
